Cousin Spotlight

This page is dedicated to celebrating the living branches of our family tree.  Here, we recognize the milestones, accomplishments, and special moments of our loved ones-because family history isn't just about the past, its about honoring the legacy being built today. This is where we shine a light on the stories still unfolding.

Bobby & Rex-Two Cousins, One State, and They Don't Even Know It!

Not one but two of my cousins have been featured in videos by popular YouTuber Peter Santenello.

In one video, Bobby gives Peter a tour of Charlotte, NC sharing his local insight and love for the city. In another, Rex O'Neal takes Peter around Ocracoke in the Outer Banks. What makes Rex's video even more special is that he still speaks with the traditional Hoi Toider brogue-a rare and fading way of speaking that's been passed down for generations.

What's wild is-Bobby and Rex are actually cousins, connected through our North Carolina roots. Thanks to genealogy reasearch, I've uncovered the link that even they didn't know existed. It just goes to show how deep our family roots run in North Carolina.

I have linked both videos below for easy viewing.
